Our white wine tip
Vetter – Sylvaner
Stefan’s wines are the opposite of pleasing fruit bombs: invariably harvested early, taut and shimmering, lively and guaranteed never boring. If you just want easy drinking, you are probably wrong with Stefan’s entry-level Sylvaner (his small Müller-Thurgau is more accessible).
But it is one of the most versatile pairings for vegetable cooking that we know of! Perhaps no wonder when the wine itself tastes like an herb garden. Seriously, if you ever don’t know what to drink with greens, you can always fall back on the Sylvaner if in doubt. And if you want to drink something refreshing and don’t care much about fruit, then Stefan’s little Sylvaner is the right thing to do anyway…
